Job summary

Xpedient Logistics in Chino, CA is seeking a Line Operator to operate powered industrial equipment, load/unload pallets, and prepare orders for shipment. You will work on-site in a fast-paced warehouse, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.

Responsibilities include using forklifts to move products, picking orders, maintaining records, and adhering to OSHA standards. Prior forklift training and ability to lift 20–45 lb cases are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass Forklift Driving Skills test
• This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period
• 18 years or older
• Working in a high-speed manufacturing environment (e.g., team-oriented, deadline driven, high performance demands, fast-paced, etc.)
• Driving a forklift (e.g., driving forwards, backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas)
• Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., placing pallets on/off vertical racking)
• Working with standards of operation (OSHA requirements on speeds, signaling, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety
• Put away inbound shipments/move product to storage locations using a forklift
• Picking cases by the each onto pallets using the powered equipment
• Prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and correct item is staged for loading
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
• Report quality variances
• Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Assist in any required physical inventories
• Complete daily inspection of equipment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documents

Summary

Our Team Members operate powered industrial equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts with fork or clamp attachments. Tasks loading/unloading pallets and cases, picking/staging orders, putting away pallets, and other general forklift work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety
• Sit-down lift experiences preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience
• Must be super-efficient in all tasks required

• Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)
• Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
• Working with standards of operation (e.g., OSHA requirements on minimum/maximum speeds, signaling, putting products in appropriate areas, etc.)

Safety:

• Observe and follow health and safety regulations
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
• Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
• Assign designated safety personnel
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
