Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance per manufacturers' recommendations and approved data.

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft.
• Consult Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and wiring diagrams to perform work on aircraft.
• Complete required paperwork per General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
• Use only approved parts and equipment on aircraft.
• Promote teamwork among maintenance personnel and flight crews.
• Maintain work spaces, materials, and tooling per company policies.

B. General

This is a full-time position that will report directly to Maintenance Control with oversight from the Director of Maintenance (DOM). The responsibilities include the day-to-day aircraft maintenance needs of the CompanyinvolvingavarietyofmaintenancetasksrelatingtotheCompany’saircraftand engines. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high mechanical aptitude, exemplary work ethic, strong knowledge of line maintenance, and proficient in FAA regulations. Excellent communication skills arerequired,andthesuccessfulcandidatemustbeabletoexhibitthevaluesandcultureof the company while working in a fast-paced/dynamic environment.

C. Duties and Responsibilities

• Performaircraftmaintenancepermanufacturers’recommendationsandadhereto approved procedures and data while performing their duties.
• Meetaircraft,checkaircraftmaintenancelogs,andrespondtodiscrepanciesenteredin the logbook.
• Performroutineandnon-routinemaintenanceonaircraft.
• ReferencestheAircraftMaintenanceManual,theIllustratedPartsCatalog,theStructural Repair Manual, the Component Maintenance Manuals, and the wiring diagrams to perform work on aircraft.
• CompletesrequiredpaperworkaccuratelyusingproceduressetforthintheGeneral Maintenance Manual (GMM).
• Usesonlyapprovedandcertifiedhardware,parts,andequipmenttobeinstalledorused on aircraft.
• Promotesteamworkamongstmaintenancepersonnelandflightcrews.
• Maintains work spaces, materials, and tooling IAW company policies and procedures, industry best practices, and appropriate housekeeping.
• Upholdssafetyandsecurityprocedures andawareness.
• Hastheabilitytoobtainadditionalqualificationsthroughtrainingandeducationas needed.
• Otherdutiesasassigned.

D. Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) Diploma, or higher.
• AvalidFederalAviationAdministration(FAA)AirframeandPowerplantCertificate.
• Abilitytosuccessfullypassassessmentwhichdemonstratesknowledgeofline maintenance under part 121 operations.
• Two(2)yearsofexperienceoncommercialaircraftinapart121environment (Boeing 737 classic experience highly preferred)
• Basic avionics knowledge and skill is highly preferred
• Abilitytooccasionallytraveltoairport/aircraftfieldlocationswithlittleorshortnotice.
• Abilitytodrivetugs,trucks,taxiaircraft,lifttrucks,snorkellifts,boomlifts,andtractor and/or other maintenance vehicles.
• Abilitytocommunicateeffectively,inbothoral andwrittencommunication.
• Abilitytocrawl,bend,kneel,climb,andstoopfrequentlyinconfinedspaces.
• Abilitytoworkunderpressureinateam environment.
