Job summary

Aerotek in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our on-site team at the San Diego International Airport. You will perform line maintenance, diagnostics, and airworthiness tasks in compliance with FARs and manufacturer manuals, delivering safe, reliable aircraft on schedule.

Qualifications

• Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
• 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, with preference for line maintenance.
• Gen Fam A320 and A330 experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance, both on-call and scheduled, on various customers' aircraft.
• Carry out routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service within scope of approval.
• Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
• Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble components to ensure equipment functionality according to approved technical data.
• Ensure departing aircraft comply with FARs and manufacturer manuals, documenting all work performed.
• Collaborate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
