Job summary

Altium Packaging in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Line Maintainer to troubleshoot and repair line equipment, set up and adjust lines for production, and perform routine maintenance in a 12-hour shift. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years as Blow Mold Technician or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate a forklift as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Comply with OSHA and company safety and hygiene standards.
• Set-up and adjust equipment to produce bottles.
• Perform machine repairs and overhauls as directed by supervisor.
• Ability to start up, shut down and troubleshoot all line equipment.
• Perform necessary machine adjustments to ensure production meets customer specification.
• Ensure proper lubrication of all equipment.
• Maintain checklists and complete reports as required.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Keep assigned work area clean and orderly.
• Participate in plant team improvement program.
• Provide break relief as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain minimum tool requirement for BMT.
• Other duties as assigned.

The line maintainer will trouble shoot line equipment, perform machine repairs, and set up and adjust line equipment for production in Altium's plants.
