Summit Midstream Partners, Lp is seeking a dedicated Line Locator to locate and document underground facilities, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have 1–5+ years of experience in utility locating, a working knowledge of DOT guidelines, and proficiency in relevant computer systems.
This role involves outdoor work under various conditions, with the requirement to maintain technical skills and report on findings accurately. The company offers various benefits including medical insurance and a discretionary performance bonus.
The line locator position is responsible for locating, marking, and documenting various underground facilities, such as pipelines, electrical and automation cables, and any other underground facilities owned or operated by Summit Midstream. Line Locators will locate all Company utilities, standby and witness on all 3rd‑party line crossings, document such crossings, update/closeout ticket statuses, issue ground‑disturbance permits as required, manage regulatory compliance documentation/inspections, and update site security drawings. Other tasks include station inspections, regulator valve maintenance/documentation, and right‑of‑way inspection/documentation.
