Job summary

O-I is seeking a Line Leader (Glass Manufacturing) in Zanesville, OH to oversee a 24/7 production line. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while leading continuous improvement and building a high-performing team culture.

The role requires leadership experience in manufacturing, knowledge of lean methods, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams across shifts. O-I offers a strong benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years manufacturing experience considered.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing; glass experience preferred.
• PM/Lean certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen and flow manufacturing.
• Proficient with SAP and related production/quality systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production, maintenance, quality, and support teams to achieve goals.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMP, and audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Partner with shift leaders and cross-functional teams across all shifts.
