Description

This position is responsible for ensuring that the assigned production area has the necessary people, equipment, and materials. Performs tasks in compliance with work instructions to ensure quality and productivity standards are met and completed on time.

Essential Functions
  • Preparing work scheduled and assigning workers to production line tasks.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary materials.
  • Evaluate and ensure all equipment is set up and maintained properly.
  • Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
  • Identify and resolve production line problems in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all team members are adequately supervised and trained.
  • Performing recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management and order tracking.
  • Employ effective, respectful, and persuasive spoken and written communication skills.
  • Implement continuous improvement programs using problem resolution and analysis skills.
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management Systems (QMS) procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Functions effectively in fast-paced, diverse, team environment.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborating with others to ensure that orders are completed on time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 12 months or more of related production line experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment, techniques, and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and motivational skills.
  • Ability to read, write, recognize, understand, and accomplish new assignments with only general instructions.
  • Ability to operate basic computer equipment and peripherals as well as company standard software.
  • Ability to count up to 100.
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.
Environment and Physical Demands
  • Traditional work week M-F, 8 hour shifts. Overtime and weekends are periodically required.
  • May require some on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Works in a typical factory environment (high noise levels, machinery, conveyors, dust, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations.)
  • Specific vision abilities are required.
  • Continuously walk, hear, stand, and talk.
  • Frequently reach, grasp, pinch, and lift/move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, and crouch.
