Job summary

Fox Factory, Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to manage a manufacturing line, drive quality, and ensure timely delivery. The role focuses on directing daily activities, improving processes, and coaching staff in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, hands-on manufacturing knowledge, and solid computer skills to optimize workflow and maintain high safety and quality standards on site in the Gainesville facility.

• Strong leadership capability and experience.
• Strong manufacturing knowledge (5S, Lean Manufacturing, technical drawing understanding).
• General computer skills (Email, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Gives direction and improvement recommendations for manufacturing processes.
• Ensures compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Assists with inventory, packaging, shipping/receiving and general facility maintenance as needed.
• Projects staffing for daily and future production needs.
• Monitors machinery, processes and work layouts to recommend improvements.
• May conduct safety and training programs for the production line.
• Mentors line staff and facilitates problem solving.
• Maintains and coaches standard work practices across all processes.

Position Summary

Leads and motivates team quality performance, cost parameters, accuracy and speed within a manufacturing production line environment. Arranges daily team activities to ensure smooth workflow, quality production and timely delivery.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Position Qualifications

Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent

Experience: 2+ years of manufacturing experience and people leadership required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Production/Manufacturing environment


• Lifts up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis


• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time


• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
