Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Laredo, TX is hiring a full-time linehaul driver based out of our Laredo location. This role requires operating a company vehicle to move FAK shipments across routes, ensuring loads are verified and delivered on schedule.

You will follow FMCSA rules, perform safety inspections, and coordinate with dispatch. The job requires a valid Class A CDL, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to drive at night with the capacity to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Able to drive at night and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record: no DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years and no recent traffic violations (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle to transport FAK over the road safely and verify loads.
• Comply with FMCSA, DOT, and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Complete all required paperwork (Bills, POD, etc.) and document trip status.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed and manage route changes.

We are looking for a full-time, linehaul company driver that will be based out of our Laredo, TX location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for safely operating a company vehicle in the transportation of FAK over the road, while verifying loads for accuracy.
• Adheres to company, federal, state, and local laws, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with dispatch team to ensure freight is delivered safely and on-time.
• Ability to work with assigned routes and ability to adapt should there be a change in route.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections on vehicles, or freight and report any issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT safety regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Safely and efficiently operate lift equipment, for loading and unloading duties.
• Ability to identify locations accurately and update trip status in Geotab or freight imaging in Acordex
• Complete and verify all required backup paperwork (Bills, HAZMAT, POD, etc.) are in order and dually delivered to the right personnel member, whether shipper, consignee, or Energy agent.

Qualifications:

COMPETENCIES

• Valid Class A CDL.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• No DUIs or DWIs within the last 5 years.
