Job summary

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions at Jacobetti Veterans - 425 Fisher Street, Marquette, MI 49855. The role offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour with Monday–Friday schedules and rotating weekends/holidays.

Prior cooking experience is preferred and training is provided. Our culinary team is central to our business, delivering quality food and memorable hospitality experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperatures and attractive presentation.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and adheres to company policies and procedures.
