The Alamo Kitchen Crew, including line cooks and dishwashers, are the heartbeat of our theaters. As a teammate, you’re responsible for food preparation, following our high standards and recipes. A successful line cook ensures everything is in order—from station prep to maintaining a clean kitchen. You’ll prepare and plate delicious recipes to enhance our guests' experience.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uphold standards of behavior as defined by the company's Core Values, Code of Conduct, and Operational Guidelines
• Maintain the highest safety standards, following all protocols to keep teams and guests healthy, and be knowledgeable about all Alamo policies and procedures
• Make food that looks and tastes delicious with high-quality ingredients
• Organize and prepare guest food tickets based on approved operational processes, focusing on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency
• Utilize tools such as measuring cups/spoons, scales, and other kitchen tools required by Alamo protocols
• Follow cleaning schedules, prep-lists, station stocking guides, and other kitchen systems to control food waste, production, and quality
• Communicate needs, concerns, and important points regularly with teammates and managers
• Support the delivery of food and beverage orders as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years experience in a high-volume food production environment
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active food handler’s certification with the applicable state agency
• Being an cinephile is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Light lifting up to 50 lbs
• Standing for extended periods
• Comfort working in a kitchen environment with equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, fryers, steamers, mixers, and knives, with exposure to heat, steam, fire, noise, and cleaning solutions
• Ability to move cautiously and operate in a busy, sometimes loud environment
