Job summary

Vicious Biscuit Franchising, LLC. is hiring for a kitchen role in a fast-casual breakfast concept. You’ll join a single-shift team operating seven days a week, focusing on sauté, biscuit building, prep, and dish duties while upholding service standards.

We offer a competitive $15-$17/hour, no night shifts, health/dental/vision, and a path for growth as we expand nationally. Applicants must obtain food safety and alcohol certs within 30 days and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Food safety and alcohol certifications required within 30 days of employment, or the ability to obtain them within that timeframe.

Responsibilities

• BOH tasks include sauté, fry station, biscuit build, prep, dishwasher, and biscuit maker.
• Execute food preparation tasks following established recipes and guidelines.
• Ensure accurate portion control and maintain consistent food quality.
• Operate cooking equipment with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare and assemble orders according to Vicious Biscuit’s standards and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure safe cooking.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Store and label food items to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Assist in inventory management and notify management of shortages.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff for smooth service flow.
• Engage with team with enthusiasm for growth and excellence.

• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of kitchen waste.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the management team.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate order timings and maintain a seamless flow of service.
