Job summary

Pura Vida Miami Llc is hiring a Restaurant Team Member in Bal Harbour Village, FL. Base pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour for full-time work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a Food Handler Certification, and a strong ability to multitask. You will prepare items, stock stations, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while collaborating with the BOH team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in food production or fast-paced restaurant.
• Food Handler certification required or obtained at applicant’s expense.
• Strong cooking knowledge of methods, ingredients and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the BOH team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.
• Show willingness and ability to cross-train across various roles in the restaurant to ensure rapid growth in responsibilities and contribution to team success.
• Support with any additional duties assigned.

• Must be familiar with the measurement system.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
