Job summary

Pelican Brewing Company is opening a brand-new location in Yachats, Oregon, and is building the founding kitchen team ahead of the September opening. The Line Cook will learn Pelican recipes and line procedures, maintain a clean workstation, and support a high-energy, guest-focused service environment.

Ideal candidates have back-of-house experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and hold an Oregon Food Handler’s Card.

Qualifications

• Two years Back of House experience.
• Oregon Food Handler’s Card.
• Able to work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Take direction and learn Pelican menu items and processes.
• Maintain safe and clean workstation and environment.
• Learn and perform line procedures, recipes and operations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist other staff as needed.
• Adhere to Pelican customer service standards.
• Provide information about Pelican menu items and events to guests.
