Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook to join the Applebee’s kitchen team in a family-friendly environment. You will handle assigned prep work, cook at your station, and maintain high standards for presentation, quality, and timing. Training across kitchen roles is included.

You will learn all menu items according to recipes and specifications, with a focus on teamwork and customer experience in a busy restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
