Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join our Applebee’s inspired kitchen. You’ll be responsible for prep work and cooking on the line, maintaining high standards for presentation, quality and timing.

You’ll learn recipes, work across kitchen stations, and be cross-trained in all kitchen roles. A positive attitude, reliability and good communication are essential as you help us deliver great neighborhood dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications (50%*).
• Complete all assigned prep work (15%*).
• Set up workstation according to station diagram (15%*).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%*).
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift (5%*).
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%*).
