Min & Max Compensation: USD $17.00/Hr.

Overview: Why We Need Your Talents: Cleans and prepares food for Line Cooks as needed. Ensures guests have a favorable dining experience. Shift Needed: Wednesday-Sunday 8am-4pm. Compensation: $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for preparation of all raw and cooked foods for line cooks as needed.
  • Responsible for cleaning and cutting garnishes for menu and line cooks.
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
  • Monitor and adjust performance relative to local competition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills To Help You Succeed
  • Ability to use all kitchen equipment and appliances.
  • Ability to read and write basic instructions.
  • Knowledge of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Ability to be creative.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
  • One (1) year of casual dining kitchen experience needed.
  • Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
  • Must be able to secure and maintain licensure as required by MSLA or other regulatory bodies.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around ovens and walk-in refrigerators.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout a 10-hour shift.
