Job summary

Erickson Senior Living invites applications for a Line Cook at Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains, NJ. Join a high-volume, guest-focused kitchen delivering 300+ meals per night with teamwork and quality cooking.

We offer a $21–$24/hour rate, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus, predictable schedules, strong work-life balance, and training to grow into Sous Chef roles. Must have at least 1 year of cook-to-order experience and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
• Execute cook-to-order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Work side-by-side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service.
• Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back.
