Job summary

Workstream is hiring a Line Cook for Applebee’s in Kearney, Nebraska. In this role, you will complete assigned prep work, set up the cook’s station, and ensure high standards in product quality and presentation. Candidates should have at least a year in the casual dining industry and hold relevant food safety certifications. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As the Line Cook, you will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, setting up the cook’s station, and maintaining product presentation, product quality, and cook time standards. This role will prepare all menu items according to Applebee’s Recipes, Plate Presentations, and specifications.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry, preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
