Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced, resident-focused kitchen. You will prepare meals from scratch, adhere to recipes, and ensure quality presentation for residents and guests.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months line cook experience in a high-volume setting, can work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and communicates effectively in English. Belmont Village offers a supportive team environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Line Cook experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Able to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).
• Must be at least 18 years old; High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards
• Follow recipes, manage portion control and ensure attractive plate presentation
• Properly manage cook times while preparing and efficiently managing several orders simultaneously
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
• Follow checklists and company procedures to ensure kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all times
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
