Job summary

Southern Rock Restaurants is seeking a diligent Line Cook to join McAlister's Deli team in Richmond, Indiana. The role focuses on maintaining clean and organized prep areas, cooking to order, and ensuring safety and quality across all dishes.

You will read orders, follow verbal instructions, and prepare meals quickly and accurately while upholding sanitation standards and responding to management needs. This position is on-site and requires a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintains food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Manages sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Reads food orders and/or receives verbal instructions and prepares orders quickly and accurately.
• Cleans and restocks station at the beginning and end of shift, preps additional items as necessary.
• Ensures prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements.
• Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Other duties as requested by management.
