Job summary

McAlister's Deli in Jefferson City is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and assemble menu items, manage station readiness, and uphold our sanitation standards to ensure guest safety and quality.

Responsibilities include reading orders, coordinating with the team, and maintaining clean stations at shifts' start and end. Previous line cook experience is helpful; experience with fast-paced service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
• Manages sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
• Reads food orders and/or receives verbal instructions required and prepares orders quickly and accurately
• Cleans and restocks station at the beginning and end of each shift, preps additional items as necessary
• Ensures prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements
• Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
• Other duties as requested by management
