Job summary

M Crowd Restaurant Group is seeking a Cook for Razzoos Harker Heights location. You will be responsible for preparing meat, seafood, vegetables, soups and other hot items, portioning, and ensuring dishes meet brand standards.

This role emphasizes consistent quality, accurate plating, and adherence to recipes. Training is provided; opportunities exist for growth in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment in Texas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Some experience in kitchen prep and cooking preferred, but willingness to learn necessary skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Follow all recipes precisely and keep the recipe accessible during preparation.
• Know and comply with our standard portion size, cooking method, quality standard, and kitchen rule, policy, and procedure.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
• Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including all equipment.
• Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and marinating.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
• Properly handle, store, and rotate all products in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
