Job summary

Denny's in Woodland, CA is seeking a Cook to prepare and present food to order following company menu and specifications. Reporting to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, you will ensure timely, high-quality dishes while adhering to safety standards.

You will work a 4–8 hour shift with a flexible schedule, read tickets/recipes, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a friendly guest experience through teamwork and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Able to read tickets and recipes and observe wares for cleanliness.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 4–8 hour shifts.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food to order following established brand standards and recipe specifications.
• Follow correct prepping procedures and proper stock rotation.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and comply with safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
