Job summary

High 5 Hospitality Group is seeking a Line Cook to support Heart of House operations across BBQ concepts. This role contributes to food preparation, plating, inventory, and kitchen cleanliness, ensuring quality dishes and guest satisfaction.

The Line Cook earns hourly wage plus tips and benefits from a flexible schedule. Evening shifts with potential weekend/holiday work offered to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
• Proficient knife skills.
• ServSafe Certified (we will provide training if needed).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing smoked meat, ordering, receiving, and storing food and supply products.
• Be responsible for the operation of all HOH stations as directed by the Pit Boss.
• Smoking meats under the direction of the Leadership
• Preparing food items consistently to recipe specifications
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
• Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
• This position is an evening position, but you must be flexible and willing to work weekends and possibly holidays.
