Job summary

GreatLIFE Golf’s Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Summerfield, Florida is seeking a full-time, hourly Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. The position offers a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO and Holiday Pay.

Pay range starts at $16.50 per hour and includes daily responsibilities in pantry preparation, cooking, and kitchen safety. Responsibilities include opening/closing checklists, proper storage, and maintaining clean stations.

Qualifications

• Certificate or 6–12 months related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Food safety and kitchen sanitation awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of pantry items for restaurant, banquet, snack bar, and beverage cart.
• Completes opening and closing checklists and follows prep lists.
• Maintains clean, sanitary work stations and proper food storage.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and reports issues promptly.
• Supports Head Chef in scheduling and kitchen operations.

Pay Range: $16.50 per hour

Job Description:

Prepares various pantry products for various food outlets such as restaurant, banquet operations, snack bar and beverage cart.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Completes opening and closing checklists.
• Refers to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
• Prepares a variety of meats, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Ensures proper storage of food items.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, walls, grills, fryers, sauté burners, range, and refrigeration equipment.
• Opens the kitchen properly and follows the opening checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in opening the kitchen.
• Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to the department manager and/or supervisor.
• Supports Head Chef in scheduling and managing the kitchen as required to support a successful operation.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular & reliable attendance.

Degree/Licenses:
