Happy Camper Denver in Chicago is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and execute our menu with consistency and care. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team, ensuring service quality from prep to plating and maintaining sanitation.

Ideal candidates have kitchen or hospitality experience and are available nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is hourly and based on experience with opportunities to grow within a team that values quality and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting preferred.
• Spanish speaking ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check items against recipe cards and verify use records.
• Monitor line setup for efficiency and maintain cleanliness.
• Prepare food following recipes and portion standards.
• Rotate perishables and store unused items properly.
• Maintain sanitation and proper temperatures across stations.
• Assist with prep, station setup, and breakdown before/after service.
• Support dishwashing and kitchen upkeep as needed.
• Assist in plating and ensuring consistent presentation.
