Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in La Plata, MD is seeking a Broil Cook to join our high-volume kitchen. You will season, sear, grill, and prepare steaks to precise temperatures, while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High volume restaurant experience is required.
• Understand cooking steak temperatures and doneness.
• Meat seasoning, searing and cooking knowledge.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Cook steaks to requested temperatures and quality standards.
• Season, sear and grill meat to perfection.
• Follow prep sheets and operate kitchen equipment properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area.
• Work collaboratively with team to meet service needs.
• Exhibit teamwork and professional conduct during peak hours.

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour

As a Broil Cook your responsibilities would include:

• High volume restaurant experience
• Understand cooking steak temperatures

• Using proper safety and sanitation guidelines
• Understanding equipment and prep sheets
• Exhibiting teamwork
