Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a part-time Broil Cook to join our team. You will handle high-volume steak preparation, seasonings, searing, and cooking, while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

You will work with a friendly team in a fast-paced environment, with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for formal training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high-volume restaurant environments.
• Knowledge of steak temperatures and doneness levels.
• Experience with meat seasoning, searing and cooking techniques.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Familiarity with equipment and prep sheets.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steak and other menu items to correct temperatures.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Season, sear and grill meat as required.
• Maintain equipment and prep sheets.
• Exhibit teamwork and assist teammates as needed.

As a Broil Cook your responsibilities would include:

• High volume restaurant experience
• Understand cooking steak temperatures
• Meat seasoning, searing, and cooking
• Meat seasoning, searing, and grilling
• Using proper safety and sanitation guidelines
• Understanding equipment and prep sheets
• Exhibiting teamwork
