Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a line cook who is motivated, results oriented, and committed to outstanding service.

You will prepare items to recipe standards, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and adapt to varying weekly schedules while delivering high-quality customer experiences. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in food service, a valid food handler's card where required, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in food service/hospitality (preferred).
• Food handler's card required where mandated by local/state laws.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Successful track record in fast-paced environments.
• Hours may vary by week based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items consistently and follow recipe standards.
• Maintain a safe kitchen by following food safety guidelines.
• Set up line, prepare ingredients, and perform cleaning/breakdown.

Pay Range Details

$22.75 - $23.65 Hourly

Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
