Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant in Pigeon Forge, TN is hiring LINE COOKS to join our kitchen team. This is a great position to grow into the restaurant industry. We love to cross-train and promote from within.

Location: 2480 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN. Hours vary with weekends required. Pay rate is $15–$17 per hour, with benefits and a supportive, family-oriented work environment from A. Marshall Hospitality family of restaurants.

Responsabilidades

• Cook and prepare a variety of food items (meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads) according to the Daily Prep List.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and prep ingredients for production.
• Plate and garnish cooked items and prepare appropriate garnishes for hot menu plates.
• Support production flow and collaborate with team to ensure timely service.

POSITION INFORMATION

• Position: Line Cook
• Location: 2480 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN
• Hours: Vary - Weekends needed
• Pay Rate: $15 - $17/hr

JOB SUMMARY

The Line Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. They are responsible for performing minor machine maintenance, setting up ingredients in preparation for production, and assigning the overall production of food when needed. They must also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates. They are also responsible for cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must pass the federally mandated E-verify process
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a professional restaurant kitchen
• Must have an understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Able to conduct yourself in a positive and professional manner under all circumstances, including in a high paced environment
