Job Description

SSP America operates multiple restaurants in the Bradley International Airport. Our Line Cooks play a vital role in receiving food orders, preparing dishes, and setting up the kitchen for efficiency. Join our team to advance your culinary career in a unique environment!

Responsibilities As a Line Cook
  • Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present dishes
  • Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily
  • Handle, store, and rotate products properly
  • Manage stock, cutting, and storage of perishables to ensure quality
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists
  • Ensure the quality of served products
  • Perform cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards
Skills and Requirements
  • Minimum one year experience in food service
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
