Job Overview

A Line Cook prepares hot and cold meals according to Fuzzy's signature recipes and menus. They monitor portions, manage inventories, and maintain a sanitary kitchen work area. They are considered the "HEART" of each Fuzzy's location.

Reports To

Owners/Operating Partners, General Manager, and other members of the Management Team.

Basic Job Tasks
  1. Inspect all kitchen surfaces to ensure safety and sanitation according to food handling procedures.
  2. Season and cook food according to recipes, using personal judgment and experience.
  3. Ensure proper presentation and quality of dishes.
  4. Store, date, and rotate food items properly.
  5. Assist management with inventory and ordering of food items.
  6. Organize food storage and kitchen equipment.
  7. Coordinate with management for catering events, considering costs and special needs.
  8. Interact with guests, addressing questions or concerns regarding food or service.
