Workstream is hiring a Line Cook in the Town of Portage, NY. This role involves preparing menu items according to Applebee’s Recipes and maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in the Casual Restaurant industry, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

As the Line Cook, you will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, setting up the cook’s station, and maintaining product presentation, product quality, and cook time standards. This role will prepare all menu items according to Applebee’s Recipes, Plate Presentations, and specifications.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry, preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
