Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local or state certification, health card, or food handlers permit.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all required items per approved recipes and portion controls.
• Follows prep lists daily and maintains cleanliness and proper storage per regulations.
• Cleans work area and equipment after each shift; adheres to safety and sanitation rules.
• Works with server team to ensure accurate food orders.
• Opens or closes a workstation as scheduled; maintains professional image in uniform.

Ideal candidates have a strong desire to pursue culinary career paths in the future.Responsibilities:The essential duties and responsibilities of a Line Cook include, but are not limited to, the following:Prepares all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controlsFollows and executes prep lists dailyMaintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulationsMaintains policies and procedures to minimize food waste and theftCollaborates with server team to ensure that food orders are accurateCleans food preparation area and equipment after each use - excluding assembling/ disassembling the pizza dough sheeter if under 18Responsible for opening or closing a workstation (depending on scheduled shift)Provides a professional image at all times through proper Cinemark culinary attireEnsures that standard operating procedures and all preventative maintenance, safety, sanitation are consistently achievedConsistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areasProperly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasksAdapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasksMonitors safety and or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports issues to managementPerforms other work-related duties as assignedRequirements:Must be at least 16 years of ageCompletes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where requiredTeam Members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training programAvailability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidaysRequires regular and consistent attendanceHas an energetic and friendly attitude during each shiftProvides excellent Guest serviceInterpersonal skills include the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities.
