Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe Legacy is preparing for a grand opening and building a culinary team from the ground up. As a Line Cook, you’ll prepare made-from-scratch dishes using in-house recipes and execute a restaurant-style menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner while supporting special events.

You’ll work in a collaborative, hospitality-driven environment with no late-night shifts, stable schedules and opportunities to grow your culinary skills through ongoing training and mentorship in a

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume restaurant setting.
• Proven success with basic to intermediate Culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job‑related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.

• Execute an extensive made-to-order, restaurant-style menu, efficiently preparing multiple orders while managing cook times and maintaining consistency
• Follow recipes and established standards for portioning, preparation and plate presentation
• Execute Chef-created menus for special events and dining experiences, maintaining established standards for quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked kitchen while following food safety regulations, sanitation standards, checklists and company procedures
• Make hospitality, quality and resident satisfaction a priority in every meal and dining experience
