Job summary

North Italia is hiring line cooks in Del Mar for part-time positions with solid pay and room for growth. Immediate hiring, walk-in interviews 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm Monday through Thursday. Benefits include health/dental/vision after 25 hours/week, PTO, free shift meals, and dining discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Good English communication skills, comfortable standing for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Italian dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results.
• Know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Portion all products, follow recipes, and ensure plate presentation looks beautiful; keep work station clean and organized, following sanitation standards.
