Urth Caffé in Pasadena is seeking a full-time Line Cook to prepare and assemble food items to Urth standards, assist in meal prep, and keep the kitchen clean.

You will follow food safety guidelines, provide friendly service, and operate kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced environment. In addition to competitive pay of $21.00/hour, Urth offers health benefits, a 401(k) plan, meal benefits, and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Experience in meal preparation or food service.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives and food preparation equipment.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-food setting is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards
• Assist in meal preparation and cooking tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Follow proper food safety procedures and guidelines
• Provide friendly and prompt customer service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist in restocking supplies as needed

Skills:

• Experience in meal preparation or food service
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives and food preparation equipment
• Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-food setting is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly without assistance
• Ability to respond quickly to sounds
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain or confined spaces safely
• Ability to climb ladders safely
• Ability to work in cold environments
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive physical movements including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and pushing
