Job summary

The NoMo SoHo Hotel, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our busy NoMo SoHo Kitchen. You will work with a team to prep, cook, and plate items for a popular weekend brunch and the handcrafted cocktail program in our greenhouse-like dining space.

Two or more years of line cook experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment are required. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits plan.

• Two or more years of experience prepping and cooking in a restaurant or banquet kitchen.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working the a.m. or p.m. shifts.
• Setting up and stocking food items and supplies.
• Preparing food items using cutting, chopping, mixing and sauce preparation techniques.
• Cooking food items using grills, frying pans, sauteing and other cooking methods specified recipe standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation practices.
• Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces.
• Performing inventory checks and completing food storage logs.
• Other duties as needed.

The NoMo SoHo Hotel is known for its panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline, modern guest rooms, local art displays, and a unique dining and beverage experience in our NoMo SoHo Kitchen. We are looking for a highly skilled Line Cook to join our F&B team. The NoMo SoHo Kitchen has a very popular weekend brunch and a handcrafted cocktail program. This unique restaurant offers a picturesque, greenhouse setting, and serves up a seasonal, expertly curated American menu with global influences.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

• Working the a.m. or p.m. shifts
