Job summary

Barcade Llc is hiring a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will set up your station, prepare items to exact specs, and work various stations including fryer, grill, and sauté.

High standards for health, sanitation and timely plating are essential. The role requires at least 1 year of line cook experience, strong understanding of cooking methods, and the ability to stay calm under pressure during busy nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of line cook experience in a full-service kitchen.
• Solid understanding of cooking methods, equipment, and quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure during busy nights.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Protection Certificate or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock your station for smooth service.
• Prepare food items to exact specifications and temperatures.
• Work all stations including fryer, grill, and sauté.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and uphold health standards.
• Coordinate with teammates to ensure dishes come out together and on time.
• Assist with deliveries stock and organization.
• Occasionally perform dishwashing and general kitchen upkeep.

Job Snapshot

• Set up and stock your station with everything you need for smooth service
• Prepare food items to exact specifications, ensuring quality and consistency
• Work all stations, including fryer, grill, and sauté
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, upholding Health Code standards at all times
• Coordinate with your teammates so dishes come out together, on time, and looking great
• Help stock and organize deliveries
• Jump in as needed with occasional dishwashing and kitchen upkeep

What You'll Need to Succeed
