Jim 'N Nick's Community BBQ is seeking a hands-on line cook to work in a fast-paced kitchen in Nashville, TN. You will cook to spec, plate with pride, and collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality meals each shift.
The role emphasizes following recipes, maintaining a clean, stocked station, and communicating with the line as a team member. Training is provided, with real opportunities for advancement.
What You'll Do
Run your station through the rush: cook to spec, plate with pride, and send out food that earns its reputation one ticket at a time. You'll follow recipes and procedures exactly, keep your station clean and stocked as you go, and communicate with the line like a teammate, because none of us succeeds without all of us.
Who You Are
You're steady when the tickets stack up and you never send out a plate you wouldn't eat yourself. Line experience helps but isn't required. We'll teach you the JNN way.
What We Give You
Our Values: Be Honest. Be Respectful. Be Committed. Be Disciplined. Be Supportive.
The Physical Stuff: This role is hands-on and high-energy. You'll be on your feet 8+ hours a day standing and walking for extended periods while lifting up to 50 lbs in a live kitchen and stockroom areas. Bending, reaching, climbing, and equipment operation are all part of the craft. These requirements reflect the essential functions of the role and may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
