Description

SkyPark at Santa’s Village is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Line Cooks to join our Food & Beverage team. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing food according to SkyPark’s high-quality standards and specifications. This role plays a vital part in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our Guests and reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Line Cooks may be assigned to work in St. Nick’s Kitchen or Billy’s BBQ, depending on experience, staffing needs, and scheduling.

This position requires availability on weekends and holidays, shifts vary.

Responsibilities:
  1. Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies.
  2. Prepare food items for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, preparing soups and sauces).
  3. Cook menu items in collaboration with other kitchen staff.
  4. Prepare meals according to guest specifications and dietary needs.
  5. Follow instructions from the Head Chef and management team.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station; properly store and label leftovers.
  7. Manage and restock inventory as needed.
  8. Ensure that food is prepared consistently, efficiently, and presented with high quality.
  9. Adhere to all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations and standards.
  10. Foster a positive and professional work environment with coworkers and guests.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Prior cooking experience preferred.
  2. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  3. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  4. Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
  5. Team-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  6. Flexible schedule with availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  7. Valid San Bernardino County Food Handlers Certification (or ability to obtain).
  8. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
