Responsibilities

  • Execute food orders accurately and efficiently on assigned kitchen station(s) in accordance with recipes, plating standards, and ticket times.
  • Prepare hot and cold menu items to order, ensuring proper cook temperatures, portion sizes, and presentation on every plate.
  • Perform a thorough line check before each service to confirm the station is fully stocked, prepped, and ready for operation.
  • Communicate clearly with other stations and front-of-house staff to coordinate timing and ensure orders are delivered correctly and promptly.
  • Monitor food quality throughout service, identifying and correcting any issues before dishes leave the kitchen.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, storage, and temperature monitoring of all food products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work station throughout the entire shift.
  • Assist the Prep Cook team during slower periods to ensure mise en place is complete and stations are properly stocked for service.
  • Properly label, date, and store all food items at the close of shift in accordance with food safety guidelines.
  • Complete station breakdown, cleaning, and end-of-shift duties as assigned.
  • Fill in and provide coverage across restaurant and dinner theater kitchen areas as assigned or directed by management.

Position Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to order across assigned kitchen stations, delivering consistent food quality, presentation, and timing during service.
