Job summary

Penn Line Tree Service, Inc. is seeking a Tree Trimmer to trim, clear and remove trees along power lines and rights of way. The role involves climbing using protective gear and operating chainsaws and related equipment.

Candidates must have 6 months of verifiable utility line clearance experience, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and readiness to travel across several states with overtime and storm duty as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' verifiable experience in a utility line clearance or residential tree clearance setting.
• Knowledge of chainsaw safety and rope & rigging techniques.
• Valid Driver License or CDL preferred.
• Ability to travel across multiple states as needed.
• May operate chainsaws, pruners, brush chippers and possibly bucket trucks.

Responsibilities

• Trim, clear, and remove trees along electric power lines and rights of way.
• Climb trees to reach branches interfering with lines using climbing gear.
• Operate chainsaw, pruners, brush chipper; may operate bucket truck.
• Travel across PA, MD, OH, VA, WV as required.
• Overtime and emergency storm duties as needed.
