Job summary

Lydech Meinerzhagen is seeking a tooling changeover technician to ensure safe, timely, and efficient changeovers on a manufacturing line. You will support setup, machine operation, and adjustments across production runs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years maintenance experience, and preferred hydraulic training and crane certification; forklift certification is also required. Salary is $22 per hour, based in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• High School, GED or equivalent.
• 3 years maintenance experience.
• 1 year manufacturing experience- press experience strongly preferred.
• Hydraulic training strongly preferred.
• Crane certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily line die sets and tool changes meet production requirements.
• Review schedules and requirements for each production line.
• Communicate with shift leaders on schedule and changeover priorities.
• Notify of unplanned downtime or risk of missing schedule.
• Coordinate line changes and die sets for maximum effectiveness.
• Change out dies and components as needed for line/machine changeovers.
• Machine set-up after die change as needed.
• Provide production support including gripper install, material adjustment, and staging.
• Support die shop with transport and cleaning of tools.
• Maintain all areas to 6S standards.
• Work additional shifts for training or coverage as requested.
