Job summary

Novartis is seeking a QC Specialist II – LIMS/Master Data in Morrisville, NC. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing LabWare LIMS master data to support Quality Control operations and ensure data integrity across a growing manufacturing environment.

You will configure plans, products, COAs, and testing controls while acting as the SME for LIMS master data, workflows, and audit trails. Validate site LMS/Empower/NetLab workflows and contribute to QMS change controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• LIMS master data experience with LabWare LIMS knowledge.
• Understanding data flow in LIMS systems and Empower Master Data.
• Knowledge of QMS, change control, and data integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update LabWare LIMS master data for QC operations.
• Serve as SME for LIMS master data, workflows, audit trails, and Empower CDS.
• Configure sample plans, products, COA setups, and testing controls.
• Support LIMS changes, validation efforts, and site LMS/NetLab workflows.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and data integrity review of analytical data.
