Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience managing lab applications, LIMS, or enterprise IT systems.
• Coding skills in C#, Visual Basic, F#, or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, or MS Access.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and T-SQL scripts.
• Experience with code management tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket).
• Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and improve lab software applications.
• Create and maintain database queries, structures, and data workflows.
• Collaborate with lab staff, QA, and IT to understand needs and implement solutions.
• Fix software issues quickly to keep lab operations running.
• Conduct system testing to ensure quality standards and compliance.
• Write simple user guides, technical notes, and training materials.
• Manage software updates using standard code tracking tools.
