Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a Limited X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant to perform limited x-ray exams under physician direction and support clinic operations. The role blends patient care with administrative tasks to keep daily operations smooth and compliant with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has an accredited MA program, BLS, and certification in limited x-ray tech, preferably with CMA/RMA credentials and Spanish language ability to serve a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Limited X-Ray Technician certification from an accredited program.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in Occupational Medicine.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited x-ray exams as directed by physicians.
• Follow established radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety of patients and self during x-ray procedures.
• Produce high quality x-ray films for interpretation by physicians.
• Follow standard operating procedures for all x-ray exams.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment for x-ray procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of x-ray equipment and supplies.
• Perform basic patient care duties such as taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians with patient care and treatment as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide patient education and answer patient questions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and directives.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation of practice.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
