Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, verify orders, and ensure proper identification.
• Explain procedures, address questions, and provide compassionate care to reduce anxiety.
• Perform radiologic exams on chest, extremities, and spine with attention to positioning, equipment use, and radiation safety protocols.
• Respond appropriately to emergent situations and ensure accurate documentation of images and patient data.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, supporting effective team communication and patient care coordination.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay current with procedures and equipment advancements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensure as a Practical Radiologic Technologist or ARRT Board Registry Eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Competency in imaging the chest, extremities, and spine.
• Strong anatomy knowledge, equipment operation skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to see, read, and manipulate equipment accurately.
• Manual dexterity for equipment handling and patient transfers.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and assisting patients.
• Capable of driving if necessary, navigating busy environments, and responding swiftly during emergencies.
