Job summary

Sentara Health in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Radiology Technician with Limited-Certified Medical Assistant responsibilities to perform radiographic exams and patient care within state-defined scope.

You will safely obtain x-ray images, position patients, prepare for procedures, and support clinical evaluation under supervision. Certification in Medical Assisting is required; Limited Radiologic Technician licensure if required.

Qualifications

• Certification in Medical Assisting is required.
• Limited Radiologic Technician licensure if required in the state of practice.
• Experience in radiography or related clinical support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations within regulatory scope.
• Safely obtain diagnostic X-ray images and ensure patient positioning.
• Prepare patients for procedures and maintain radiation safety.
• Support clinical evaluation by the provider under supervision.
